Whatever it is the shade, rosé is always a compromise of great balance. Light brushstrokes of pale pink shades draw from a palette of colors created by a time span defined as “a few hours”, perhaps “one night”; this is the time of a maceration of this wine that extracts aromas and a trait of elegance that makes rosé a refined, complete wine.

Aromas, flavor, minerality and a slight astringency outline the style of Cantina di Custoza’s Bardolino Chiaretto Val dei Molini. The glass expresses the geology of Lake Garda that influences the sip, always lively, versatile in its play of a thousand combinations.

Let’s talk about a well made rosé; well done for its ability to combine different and intense souls such as Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella; well done because like a sweet caress it stretches on the palate with firmness and sensuality, it replaces the right dose of territoriality, of varietal, that fraction of aromas that fade from berries, to the sweetness of cotton candy, the roundness of a bon bon alla strawberry, astringency driven by extract and tannins.

From Lazise, Cavaion Veronese and Bardolino to the world. We tasted it with a lake fish soup, perfectly combined with its flavor and floral and fruity tones.

Company Profile
Custoza. The history of this name has distant origins, namely in the medieval Verona in which William Shakespeare set “Romeo and Juliet”. Today, those ancient lands, host our 1,000 hectares of vineyards, and their history inspired the founding shareholders to begin selecting the grapes to produce the first Custoza DOC, in 1968. It that year there were only 83 of us, and our beloved Custoza was born by an unstoppable enthusiasm, fed by the passion we have always felt for this land. In 1971 we produced our first Custoza vintage; for us it marked the beginning of a story that was destined to change our land. Today our winery can boast 200 winegrowers; we place 7 million bottles on the market each year, reaching no less than 19 countries in the world. By the selection in the vineyard, we produce our line “Val dei Molini” and “Custodia” “Terre in Fiore” is the ORGANIC selection of Cantina di Custoza, an ambitious project that was made possible by the professionalism of our technical staff.
