Whiskey Live Paris: the biggest liquor tasting event in Europe is back
Whiskey Live Paris will hold its eighteenth edition on September 24 and 25 at Paris' Grande Halle de la Villette.
Whiskey Live Paris, now in its 18th year, is preparing to entertain 40,000 people in the Grande Halle de la Villette for its 2022 edition. These are remarkable numbers if we compare them to the original event in 2004 with its 1,500 attendees.
Since its beginning, the event has grown and become more focused on the city's iconic structures: following a contemporary art gallery, it was held at the Palais Brongniart, at the Cité de la Mode & du Design, and, for three years, at the Grande Halle de La Villette.
Whiskey Live Paris will be held for the first time in front of the building's main nave, covering an area of nearly 10,000 m2. The space will be double the size of the 2021 edition, with even more exhibitors.
Whiskey will undoubtedly be the focus of attention, thanks to the involvement of distilleries, brands, and bottlers from all over the world. After a two-year hiatus caused by the epidemic, the United States and Asian countries (Japan, Taiwan, and India) will make a significant comeback.
Rhum Gallery and Cocktail Street among the most anticipated areas
The nearly 1000 m2 Rhum Gallery is a unique space dedicated to rum that will bring together the endless variety of this product for all fans. Connoisseurs and the savviest guests will get a one-of-a-kind chance to sample more than 300 new limited editions and pick from an equal number of antique and rare bottles.
Finally, for all mixology fans, the Cocktail Street will span over 3,000 square meters and feature over 35 stands.
Whiskey Live Paris is also a reflection of a meticulous and precise selection; for every enthusiast, it is a chance to sample spirits from more than 40 nations, interact with key players in a vibrant world, and enjoy high-quality products.
The event is also one of the most intriguing displays for distilleries, which rely on the show's reputation to introduce their new goods in a world preview every year.
Through outstanding masterclasses, Whiskey Live Paris enables industry experts and amateurs to improve their culture and understanding of alcoholic beverages.
In the spirit of knowledge sharing and transmission, the presenters (master blenders, journalists, specialists, and so on) will lead a program of 40 masterclasses.
