Lu Patri, which means "father" in Sicilian dialect, indicates the forefather. The meaning of this name can be found in the complexity of this wine version, which seems to be harmonizing all the best qualities of Nero d’Avola. The impeccable red fruits express the typicality of the grape type giving a fresh balsamic herbs shade which certifies a superior pleasantness. Warm ,soft, elegant and rich with tones of tobacco, liquorice and spices which give it a balanced and deep complexity as in the word "father". Recommended with dried herbs kid, cooked in a wood-fire oven.
Noble Agrigento lineage set up in the year 2000 by the three family men and raised day by day. Within Baglio del Cristo di Campobello: thirty hectares of vineyards, ten vineyard sites uniting to form a single body, within the confines of a fifty-hectare estate. Deep soil, both calcareous and chalky, spread over hills that lie between 230 and 270 meters above sea level, just 8.000 meters from the coast. For the most part planted with a density of 5.000 vines per hectare, all reared from original stock planted in its mother-earth, all harvested by hand, using small crates.
