This light straw yellow wine affected us for its intense and persistent perfume with sensations of delicate white flowers and fruitfruity blossoms of apricot. Impetuous sweet mustard enlivens an olfactory frame enriched by a pleasing mineral note. This wine, warm and enveloping in the mouth, comes from a sunny region in the south of Italy, Basilicata. Freshness and a savory taste give it the right tonicity.
We chose to pair it with spaghetti and clams.

Paternoster winery is located in Barile since 1925, in the heart of Basilicata, a generous yet secret region in the south of Italy, with unique soil and climatic conditions. The result is a selection of fine wines with a strong and authentic soul.
The estate extends over 20 hectares divided into several crus, very old vineyards where excellent wines are produced. All vineyards are cultivated on a natural terrace overlooking the Mount Vulture, an extinct volcano that marks the borders of a generous yet misterious land, that preserves the unique and native character of the vineyards.
