It’s easy to say Prosecco. A single denomination and different nuances of a story that starts from the vineyard and reaches the glass. Different territorial origins even if located in the same north-eastern area of Italy and coming from 4 provinces of Friuli Venezia Giulia (Gorizia, Pordenone, Trieste, Udine) and 5 provinces of Veneto (Belluno, Vicenza, Padua, Treviso, Venice), places from the unique pedoclimatic conditions. Vigna Belvedere, a farm in the province of Pordenone is located in places particularly suited for the production of Prosecco, plains with loamy clay soils with sandy layers that move from the Alps towards the sea. With great passion for its land and with the knowledge of the traditional Simonit Sirch Pruning School behind it, it works eight hectares of vineyards of four different clones of Glera grapes. And if we still could not explain the success of Prosecco Doc, the suggestion remains to choose a glass of Najma 2017 Vigna Belvedere Brut. It will meet the favor and taste of all those who approach wine in a “pop” way while satisfying the desires of the most demanding palates. An elegant bubble, a glass with a pale straw yellow color and a fine, continuous and persistent perlage. Intriguing thanks to the olfactory and gustatory suggestions it offers, a concrete wine for the freshness of the aromas of apple and pear, white acacia flowers, hawthorn and delicate citrus scents. Fresh and slightly savory it is recommended to taste it in combination with a Prosecco Doc risotto and a sprinkling of lime and pecorino. To be served at a service temperature of 8 degrees.
Company Profile
Vigna Belvedere owes its history to the passionate work of a family of timber traders and landowners active in the north-east of Italy since the fifteenth century and who at the beginning of the nineteenth century decided to invest in different lands and real estate, on which the vineyards are now located, on the plain between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto, in order to facilitate the transportation of timber from the lush forests of Cadore to the lagoon of the ancient maritime Republic of Venice. After a period of interruption during the 1980s, in 2017 thanks to a total renewal of the vineyards, the company took a brand new road, without forgetting tradition.
