Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso - Scriani
Certain Ripasso stand fast even with the most acoustic banquets...
this one by Scriani is an example. While maintaining a lively colour, it begins entering its best moment when the cherry, by this time dried, steps aside and allows the black cherry in alcohol and, even more, the leather, to appear. When tasted it maintains an exemplary persistence that accompanies the important but balanced tannin and an acidity that has not yet been replaced by the time that passes. Perfect with grilled red meat, roast meat and cheese.
