A different classic method, produced by a family-owned winery located in the eastern area of Valpolicella, dedicated to the typical red berried grapes of the area. Talestri is the project of Anna, Lisa and Francesca, coordinated by their father Francesco, with the will and desire, supported by knowledge and expertise, to tell a different emotion each time through wine. In 2008 they purchased ten hectares of vineyards starting a new adventure that tells through an Amarone, a Ripasso and a Classic Method an ancient knowledge of native grapes such as Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella according to the concepts of biodiversity and sustainability.
Talestri Metodo Classico is instinct and emotion, a modern bubble that with its minerality and the subtle vein of acid tension, faithfully reads the territory of calcareous soils and basaltic outcrops. On the nose you can appreciate the power of the aromatic range, in a definition of cleanliness and finesse and you can recognise currant, raspberry, dog rose, musk and white flowers. Refined sip, persistent and creamy bubble, it is a solfeggio of aromas and a range of smells that open to taste sensations sealed in a cohesive structure, sometimes more difficult to identify. In the end, the harmonious maturation remains.
To be enjoyed throughout the meal. We paired it with a good shrimp tempura.
Talestri is a new name that tells of the tenacity of three sisters who have inherited the family's passion for enology and appreciate the flavor of innovation. Francesca, Anna and Lisa Marcato’s estate embraces 10 hectares of hills in the easternmost territories of Valpolicella with calcareous soils interspersed with basaltic outcrops that testify to the presence of ancient submarine volcanoes. A corner of paradise, ideal for interpreting Amarone, Ripasso and Classic Method with perfect grapes that feed the extraordinary creative vein of their father Francesco.Le Tre Talestri Soc.
