Chardonnay is an international grape with the ability to conform to the production area expressing itself truthfully, thanks to an intrinsic ductility and a unique adaptability. Chardonnay 2020 by Vigna Dogarina, a winery purchased in 2016 by Vi.V.O. Cantine, while remaining faithful to the taste that defines Chardonnay, adds its own personality found in the aromatic expressions of white peach and melon, with a balsamic breath of great lightness. The sip insists on the white flower, finding pure aromas of herbs and green tea. The vineyards located between the Carnic Alps and the Venice Lagoon extend over alluvial-clayey soils rich in calcium and magnesium, which the waters of the Piave river carry from the Dolomites to the Salgareda countryside. A specific mineral composition that we find in a sip of great gustatory persistence.
Territory and culture, the glories of the Serenissima Republic of Venice and the rigor of the Habsburg domination, find space in a quality label that is well representative of a sustainable and technologically advanced winery.
To be served at a temperature of 8 degrees, it is an excellent aperitif to accompany stuffed olives and vegetables in batter.
