IXE Tempranillo is a rare example of Tempranillo from Tuscany grown to organically cultivated 15-23-year-old-vines in the area of Pisa. The soils which are a base of sandstone, with Pliocene marine fossil formations and compact white clay give the wine its lively mineral character and complexity. It’s characterized by a luminous deep violet hue, while it’s fruity base and floral aromas makes it a very enjoyable, versatile wine which can be paired to a variety of dishes thanks also to a soft and savory finish.
