The historic Cantine Settesoli company promotes a different and interesting Sicily through its own brand, Mandrarossa, which is well-known on both the domestic and international markets.
A wine inspired by the beautiful Sicilian sea that pays respect to a pure Sauvignon grown with care on slopes that absorb the sea’s particular expression and powerful personality.
Its sunny yellow hue is accompanied by an extremely broad and similarly delicate olfactory experience, much like its golden reflections.
The floral component dominates the aromatic part as well as the traces of Mediterranean scrub, while citrus serves as the fruity base and white-fleshed fruits help to temper it, resulting in a very well-balanced tiny hint of tropical.
It is robust and powerful in the tongue, bringing back the scents noticed on the nose with good balance in the persistence and aftertaste, accompanied by a minerality with savory and appropriately acidic characteristics.
Urra di Mare is a hymn to combinations, from Catalan crustaceans to fresh seafood, to pasta with Pachino tomatoes, anchovies, and that pinch of colatura that adds its outstanding originality. Congratulations to Mandrarossa!
