The vineyards of this true paradise in Montalcino are situated in a region that is ideal for the production of Sangiovese, and Paradiso di Cacuci unquestionably has significant production and agronomic potential that may be utilized.
Despite critics defining the 2018 vintage as one to forget (due to high rainfall during the most delicate periods), the tasting of Paradiso di Cacuci’s Brunello instead expressed that potential, which we believe was given by an excellent job in the cellar as well as the excellent position of this cellar’s vineyards.
Indeed, the nose of this Brunello 2018 by Paradiso di Cacuci is broad and solid, ranging from ripe to young fragrances of wild berry jam to well-defined spices and exquisitely aromatic notes. On the tongue, it is equally direct, with a distinct mineral note, amplitude, and nice sapidity and acidity that pique interest in the possibility of tasting it in a few years.The highest compliment that can be given to this wine is that it truly exhibits harmony in development. We didn’t pair this wine with food since we wanted to enjoy it on its own, with the hope of meeting it again soon.

Paradiso di Cacuci is a winery located in a small “corner of Paradise“ in the northwestern area of Montalcino, about 370 m. above the sea level, in the renowned area of Montosoli. Our wine production is centered on the perpetuation of the tradition which, together with a more modern model and in compliance with the values of the Brunello Consortium, uses only from our vineyards which are respectively divided into; 5 ha Brunello di Montalcino, 1 ha. Rosso di Montalcino and 5 ha. di I.g.t. Sangiovese.
