In the heart of Salento, the Tinazzi group has its own winery: San Giorgio, a true source of company pride. The result of years of work and investment, this Apulian entity stands alongside the group’s Venetian and Tuscan wines in international markets.
Here, the proprietary hectares are primarily cultivated with red grape varieties. From Primitivo, Negroamaro, and Malvasia Nera comes Torreserro, a wine made from grapes dried on the vine (appassimento in pianta).
The elegant, frosted bottle encloses a product born after years of vineyard studies to perfect the on-vine drying process. The naturally dehydrated grapes are gently pressed to create a true emblem of the winery.
A wine with a precise and straightforward character, of great qualitative depth and truly unique harmony. The color is dark red with brilliant reflections. The nose is broad: oriental spices, red fruit compote, floral notes intertwined with hints of leather and tobacco.
