There is the whole story of Santa Maria La Palma winery in this intriguing bubble wine with pleasant floral notes, with a really interesting bread crust ending, unusual for a charmat. Aragosta Brut, in fact, comes from the oldest vineyards of the estate and merges in itself the path of qualitative growth of this viticultural reality of Sardinia, where the ancient wisdom of the fathers, combined with the knowledge of the new generations are able to enhance an important wine like the Vermentino Aragosta, delicately scented, soft, with a dry, slightly bitter taste. The bubble is delicate and persistent, the scent is persistent, with floral notes and hints of white peach, good drinkability, the structure surprises and justifies the 13 degrees of alcohol. In the mouth it is fresh, with a good sapidity and a great sparkling persistence. Thanks to its organoleptic characteristics, it can be suggested as an excellent aperitif, combined with light first courses, with not invasive sauces and with second courses based on fish, especially shellfish, with which it combines perfectly, enhancing the sweetness of the sea. As a serving temperature the eight degrees should not be exceeded during the meal, better six in case of an aperitif.
Company Profile

It all began in 1946, in the Nurra area, which had been reclaimed and given to the farmworkers following the Agrarian Reform that was implemented in Sardinia in the immediate post-war period. The locals were blessed with skilled, courageous hands that had the capacity to capture the soul of a part of the island that seems to have been designed for winemaking. And so, in 1959, one hundred of them decided to enter into a co-operative and to found the Cantina Santa Maria la Palma (Santa Maria la Palma Winery).
Today, past and future are being combined seamlessly through the new technologies deployed in every project put together by the Winery, which can leverage a tradition that has always married innovation to love for the local soil.
700 hectares of land on the estate are under vine, giving rise to a wealth of highly nuanced Sardinian wines, all made with the same passion and dedication as always, while also taking advantage of everything that state-of-the-art technology has to offer.
