Suvignon DOC Grave Friuli – Sauvignon Blanc is a traditional variety planted to the area of Grave in Friuli and does particularly well in this area thanks to the sandy, gravely soils that have a high limestone content, these give rise to zesty, vibrant wines which very much characterize this Sauvignon Blanc. On the nose it is characteristically varietal, herbaceous with hints of green bell pepper and hints of tropical fruit, such as mango and papaya. On the palate its aromatic freshness is enhanced by its vibrant rich aromas and acidity. A wine that pairs well with raw prawns (scampi) and an excellent match to dishes with asparagous.
