There are family stories where determination and a deep understanding of the land have shaped their values, which they’ve successfully brought to the market. These values are reflected in their products, ensuring they are always recognizable and tied to their identity.
The story of the Muratori family began more than 25 years ago and has always evolved through research and perseverance, maintaining a strong connection with the traditions of Franciacorta.
Their Franciacorta Brut is a clear and successful example of this. This wine encapsulates the potential of their winery, “Villa Crespia,” where this sparkling wine is crafted, predominantly from Chardonnay with two excellent supports provided by Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc.
The winery’s production capacity is highly impressive, with 240,000 bottles produced, a testament to the strategic management of their vineyards and the great value they bring to markets that increasingly appreciate Italian sparkling wines.
An enveloping and bold pérlage gives this sparkling wine vigor, while the nose reveals rich complexity and elegance. Aromas of white-pulp fruit and wildflowers gradually give way to fragrant notes of freshly baked bread. On the palate, it offers vibrant acidity and excellent freshness, wrapped in the minerality typical of its production areas.
A great aperitif that pairs beautifully with the whole meal, shining with fish dishes as well as stuffed vegetable pastas, fresh cheeses, or young tomes.
Company Profile
We are a family strongly rooted in the Franciacorta area. Since 1999 we have brought our passion to the production of wines that reflect the values and identity of our history. We have chosen to enhance the family, the product and our history without denying what has been done so far. Like a sculptor we set about roughing out the excess, in search of the essential. And here then the fundamental role of the Family emerges, the true starting point, the essence of the cellar. So Villa Crespia becomes Muratori: Muratori becomes the name of the new course. “Villa Crespia” does not disappear, but the physical place remains, the estate where our company is located and where the wine is born.
