Piedmont and the Asti area is, without a doubt, the place where everything is born for this type of wine, which in its natural effervescence contains all its intriguing soul.
The Cantamessa Moscato is obtained from Guyot-grown vines with a production of 90 quintals per hectare, slightly below the regulations and at the same time in one of the most suitable areas of the region, also in terms of altitude and microclimate in general.
Quality also emerges in the sober image and never above the lines that the company gives to this wine, inserted within a very well balanced range of the Piedmontese panorama.
The color is a bright yellow, slightly straw-colored, and while it is poured, the intriguing part of the foam brings into the room the freshness of the recognizable and proper scents of its aromatic soul.
Hints of precious honeys and sage, mixed with white flowers combined in a bouquet with the orange blossoms as protagonists, in the mouth the finesse of this Cantamessa wine is a balance achieved, in particular for the sensation of aromatic and medicinal herbs that well they bind to fresh peach and citrus notes.
Its natural acidity allows a drink that does not tire the palate, even for sugars that are very well balanced.
To be enjoyed with the homemade apple pie, then close with a slightly spicy blue cheese to clean the palate with the elegance that is typical of Cantamessa’s Moscato.

Company Profile
The Cantamessa winery is located in the small hamlet of Bionzo, in the Municipality of Costigliole d’Asti in the renowned wine-growing area on the border of Monferrato with the Langhe. Here it was founded, back in 1870, by the “grandfather Lorenzo” who, due to its extension and production, made it one of the most important companies of the hamlet. It then passed into the hands of the sons Giuliano and Guglielmo, had a period of stalemate, also due to the succession of the two World Wars. It was in the early 1990s that his nephew Aldo decided to continue the ancient family tradition, driven by a great passion matured since he was a child.
