Arione, a historic winery from Piedmont, produces this Langhe DOC red wine which we have defined as a good travel companion among the wine-growing landscapes of the Langhe and Monferrato.

This Langhe DOC is a blend of cabernet sauvignon, a grape with a strong international spirit, and other native grapes such as Dolcetto or Barbera, to give that vision and mission that Arione has always made its own, in order to best approach the tastes of consumers from all over the world, making them appreciate the value of a territory such as Piedmont.

In the glass this red wine presents a beautiful ruby color with harmoniously brilliant reflections; the nose is very broad: red berries and plum jam stand out above the floral part of the field which emerges slowly in the glass and the finish brings the mind back to sensations of dried aromatic herbs.

It is soft and well structured, its body is balanced with the mineral part and the savory part, the aftertaste is long and with a pleasantly persistent balance.

This Langhe DOC wine has to be paired with meat dishes such as an excellent veal with tuna sauce or strips of beef with herbs seasoned with a drizzle of raw extra virgin olive oil, but it is also a wine that stands up well with long-cooked meats or braised meats .

Arione confirms itself as a winery that knows how to look to the future with that innovation that has been the driving force of the winery for many years.

Company Profile

The history of Arione begins in 1870 when Luigi Arione founded the company that still bears his name after four generations. Today Arione is led by the brothers Mauro and Luca Arione, whose goal is to continue producing traditional wines with the highest possible quality, the right level of technological innovation, to meet the demands of the national and international markets. Their wineries are located in areas that have always been suited to the production of high quality wines, between Langhe and Monferrato: more precisely in Canelli, where sparkling wines and wine cocktails are bottled, and in Castiglione Tinella where traditional Piedmontese, famous all over the world, are bottled.
