Friulano, a name and a destiny, one would say for this white of the Zorzettig winery that prepares and carefully selects the grapes in the vineyard, valorized and interpreted with the utmost care in the cellar to preserve all the passion and the link to the territory. Link that emerges clearly from this white 100% Friulian Tocai, from old vines, with selection and harvest by hand in boxes. In the visual analysis, the color is a straw yellow, brilliant and compact. At the nose the wine is long and enveloping, persistent even after a second round of glass, with citrus returns and country flower sensations and a final cleaning that wins. In the mouth, it is soft, with a balanced structure and interesting mineral notes. Its aroma does not hide in the finish a typical almond return. Its style makes it an ideal choice for an aperitif, perfect in combination with a herbs omelette or San Daniele ham or a smoked queen trout carpaccio. Basil and rosemary notes, hold by a perfect acidity, make it a wine that goes well with a sushi selection, a delicate tempura or a lasagna of asparagus and Montasio cheese.
