Sicilian wines mirror a territory where plains meet hills, sea water and the fire of volcanoes, technology and fantasy. Nero dAvola, more than other Sicilian wines, offers itself easily to every kind of consumer, without deluding anyone. To understand Nero dAvola, start from this bottle: mixed berries and mountain blueberries open joyous aromas, exalting a structure that is concentrated but extraordinarily harmonious and velvety. Tobacco, chocolate and spices are perfectly balanced, outlining a frame where sweetness and acidity remain side by side. We suggest drinking this wine with a typical dish from northern Italy: oven-roasted pig shank with potatoes.
