The Planeta family has Spanish origins and has been the protagonist and a key player in the Sicilian agricultural world for many generations. The current company was founded in 1995 by the seventh generation, thanks to the perfect harmony between two generations of brothers and sisters, children, nieces and nephews that gave life to wines that proudly bear the family name. Planeta now represents not one, but six different ways to express the character of the territory in six different settings.

In Noto, Sicily, the light invades everything. It is here that Nero dAvola wine has its noble origins, well deserving the lineage of the family name on its label. As soon as the bottle is opened, it slowly but completely reveals its fresh aroma of juicy red fruit. It runs intensely and quietly over the palate
like Sicily, leaving male notes in the throat. Perfect for serving at a dinner for two with ethnic food.
