Tenuta Maso Corno stretch around a century-old farmstead in the Lessini mountains, opposite the Piccole Dolomiti. This is a farmstead-vineyard that spreads out like a fan on an orographic terrace suspended over the Ala stream and overlooking the Adige valley from an altitude of 500 m.

The Maso Corno winery develops around an ancient stone building and appears as an incredible balcony suspended 500 metres above the Adige valley. Dolomite and chalky soil hold 30-year old vines in a natural, uncontaminated context. Low yields, grapes that are picked and selected by hand, careful vinification, ageing for more than one year in small barrels, then resting for 4 years in the bottle are the secrets of this winery. This Pinot Nero is more harmonic and elegant than that of 2010, which has a splendid ruby red colour. Let your nose find the aroma of red rose and laurel that play with the toasty hints, then let your palate be cradled by the rich, sweet freshness of golden tobacco, which is well contrasted by hints of dark chocolate and a captivating tannin content. For that extra touch: serve with tagliatelle with rabbit sauce.
